Donna's Cobb Wedge Salad

23 January 2016:  As you may have noticed if you occasionally check out my blog, I love salads and enjoy finding the freshest ingredients to create them.  This salad is a combination of two of my favorites, i.e., Wedge Salad and Cobb Salad.  Have fun making up your own combinations!  Best, Donna:


Donna's Cobb Wedge Salad
Ingredients:

For Salad:
1 head iceberg lettuce cut into small wedges
2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
1-1/2 pints grape tomatoes, red, orange and/or yellow
1 avocado, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
5 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
3/4 cup bacon bits
4 ounces blue (or gorgonzola) cheese, crumbled

Method:
Decoratively arrange all salad ingredients on a large platter.   Serve salad with Blue Cheese or Ranch dressings.

Serves 6 - 8.
